“Time to Resist” is a colorful pop art graffiti painting by PVettese, created using mixed media on canvas in a 50 x 61 cm format. The work depicts the character Tintin wearing a blue shirt and red pants, accompanied by his white dog Snowy. Facing them stands a dark creature, a dinosaur inspired by Basquiat’s graphic universe, with visible teeth and a primitive silhouette.

The composition is based on a very clear face-off. The character and his dog occupy the right side of the canvas, in an attentive, almost frozen posture. On the left, the black creature advances toward them, creating immediate tension. The space between the figures becomes a place of confrontation, like a moment suspended between fear, courage, and resistance.

The background exudes a dense street art energy: drips, splatters, inscriptions, graphic symbols, drawn flowers, spontaneous lines, and colorful overlays. The blues, greens, reds, yellows, whites, and grays create a vibrant urban atmosphere. The black and white outlines structure the scene and give the characters a strong presence.

With Time to Resist, PVettese explores a tension between innocence and the contemporary world. The young character and his dog bring a gentle and familiar dimension, while the black dinosaur introduces a raw and expressive force. The work speaks of resistance, of silent courage, of that ability to face challenges without losing one’s innocence.

With its balanced composition, visual storytelling, and graphic impact, this painting fits naturally into a contemporary interior, a living room, a creative office, a pop art collection, or a space that embraces the energy of street art. It brings color, tension, visual humor, and decorative power all at once.

The artist’s works are featured in numerous private collections around the world (Europe, the United States, China, Mexico, Australia). Painting photographed online and painting visible "for real"

If you like a possible painting in the online gallery, it will always seem even more beautiful "for real". All collectors who experience it confirm this to me.

However, representing painting's format can be difficult. This is why the dimensions are clearly mentioned in the description above.

Advice: you can transfer painting 's dimensions you like on a template (cardboard for example) then put it where painting is intended.
