Frequently Asked Questions
Are the paintings on your website unique?
Yes. Every piece is one-of-a-kind and hand-painted by Priscilla Vettese (PVettese). Each painting is signed on the front, countersigned on the back, and delivered with an invoice and a certificate of authenticity. There is only one copy of each work.
I’m worried a painting might arrive damaged—what happens then?
This is very rare thanks to professional packaging: each painting is wrapped in bubble wrap, secured in a sturdy box with kraft paper, and—depending on the format—may ship in a special art-grade carton. If any damage occurs despite these precautions, you’ll receive a full refund.
Important: if the parcel arrives torn, punctured, or heavily dented, do not accept the package so it’s returned to the artist and a carrier claim can be filed. In all cases, a few photos may be requested for the claim.
Are the paintings ready to hang?
Yes. A sturdy hanging system is installed on the back (on the stretcher), and the edges are painted for a clean, gallery-ready look.
What are “paintings on canvas board”?
In addition to traditional canvas on stretcher bars, the gallery also features paintings on canvas board—a layer of artist-grade canvas mounted onto a rigid board (typically around 1/8" thick). Canvas boards are lightweight, sturdy, and easy to frame. You can display them on a tabletop easel or place them inside a standard frame (with or without a mat) for a clean, gallery-style finish. The surface is primed (gesso) for durability and color vibrancy; for wall hanging, a frame or floater frame is recommended since the board itself isn’t stretched.
Which paintings are currently available?
Visit the “Paintings” menu.
If you see “Sold,” the work is no longer available.
Listings are updated in real time: when a painting is available, the “Add to Cart” button appears; if it’s sold, a red “no” symbol shows on the product page.
How do I purchase a work?
You can order directly on the website: add the piece to your cart and follow the steps.

Can I return a painting if it doesn’t meet my expectations?
Yes. You have a 14-day withdrawal period from receipt to return the artwork.
I saw a painting I loved but it’s sold—can you recreate it?
Each piece is singular and emotion-driven; I don’t reproduce an existing painting identically. However, I can create a commission in a similar spirit (never two identical works). For custom requests, email pvettese@proton.me
.
