“Time to Love” is a pop art and street art painting by the artist PVettese, created using mixed media on canvas in a 61 x 50 cm format. The work features a crowned Babar elephant, dressed in a green suit, facing a large, soft Rolex watch inspired by Salvador Dalí’s “The Persistence of Memory,” complete with a green dial. The composition is based on a strong contrast between the character’s gentleness and the visual energy of the background.

The highly urban setting blends splashes of paint, gestural marks, inscriptions, tags, layering effects, and vivid colors. The turquoise, green, red, yellow, and orange tones create a luminous and dynamic atmosphere, while the black and white outlines add depth, clarity, and graphic power.

The distorted watch occupies a central place in the interpretation of the work. It introduces a tension around time, movement, and that which escapes control. Opposite it, the figure retains a tender, almost childlike presence. The title *Time to Love* directs the work toward a sensitive interpretation: taking the time to love, despite the chaos, constraints, and turmoil of the contemporary world.

With its balanced composition and strong decorative presence, this painting naturally fits into a living room, an office, a contemporary interior, or a pop art/street art collection. It brings a colorful, expressive, and instantly recognizable energy.

Painting photographed online and painting visible "for real"

If you like a possible painting in the online gallery, it will always seem even more beautiful "for real". All collectors who experience it confirm this to me.

However, representing painting's format can be difficult. This is why the dimensions are clearly mentioned in the description above.

Advice: you can transfer painting 's dimensions you like on a template (cardboard for example) then put it where painting is intended.
